Peer-To-Peer Education Program

Peer-To-Peer is a nationally recognized education and support program designed to help consumers sustain their recovery from serious mental illness. Students participate in 10 weeks of classes that include; information on medications, signs of an impending relapse, obstacles to recovery and patients rights within the mental health care community. In addition to the weekly two-hour class, participants are encouraged to become members of an ongoing support group.

Consumers who have participated in the Peer-To-Peer Education class say:
~ "I've gotten a lot out of the Peer-To-Peer* course. I AM NOT ALONE!"
~ "It was finally such a relief to talk and to listen to people experiencing the same things."
~ "The Peer-To-Peer* notebook is phenomenal and answers so many of my questions. It just helps to have others to talk to."
