Stigma fosters denial of symptoms and pushes us away from treatment.NAMI-WCI's Campaign to Eliminate the Stigma of Mental Illness is attacking these destructive myths with a carefully planned media campaign, educational programs in the schools, an anti-stigma website, high profile public events and ongoing presentations to service clubs and organizations.
